The Edge of Darkness movie was seen initially in 1985 in a British Broadcasting Company BBC television series. The plot for this action / detective movie is a turbulent ride, with personal drama because of the death of Mel Gibson’s daughter.

His job as a detective has prepared him to take action, after the murder of his daughter he searches for clues that lead him to a political insiders conspiracy and begins to know his daughter better after her death, than when she was alive. This is Mel Gibsons first starring role since the year 2002. Seems a good bet the theaters will be packed for this full action thriller with great camera angles and directing.

Starring in the role of Thomas Craven, the 52-year-old actor incarnates the vengeful homicide detective who lives in Boston. As a detective investigating the murder of his activist daughter Emma, answers won’t come easy and some answers may be impossible to answer, it is only with a lot of luck and mistakes committed by the real killers that he might understand what is really going on and who is pulling all the strings.
